JAMSHEDPUR – The Eastern Zone ACBI Conference 2024 successfully wrapped up at Manipal Tata Medical College, focusing on advancements in diagnostic biochemistry.

The event took place on October 4th and 5th, 2024.

It was organized by the Association of Clinical Biochemists of India (ACBI).

The conference theme centered on shaping healthcare’s future through diagnostics.

Moreover, it brought together experts, researchers, and students in the field.

The Department of Biochemistry at MTMC co-hosted the event.

Additionally, MGM Medical College and Hospital’s Biochemistry Department collaborated.

Dr. Lakshman Lal, former Head of Biochemistry, contributed to the organization.

Furthermore, a preconference workshop on Next Generation Sequencing was held online.

The workshop also covered electives in biochemistry.

Meanwhile, the main conference began with a formal inauguration ceremony.

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Patra served as the Chief Guest.

On the other hand, Dr. Rajiv Ranjan Sinha represented the ACBI President.

The event featured keynote addresses from distinguished speakers.

Notably, Dr. P.K. Patra and Dr. Jayashree Bhattacharya shared their expertise.

Dr. Prakruti Dash and Dr. Rajesh Jambhulkar also delivered insightful presentations.

Young researchers had opportunities to present their work orally.
