Special Cleaning of Major Drains Underway in Jamshedpur Notified Area

Major drains cleaned in Jamshedpur’s Notified Area Committee region under special initiative.

JAMSHEDPUR – Under the special cleaning of major drains under the Jamshedpur Notified AreaCommittee area, the cleaning team of Jamshedppur Notified Area Committee (JNAC), with the help of workers, cleaned the major drains located at Nirmal Nagar, Adarsh Nagar North 7th Face, Anil Surpath, Shastri Nagar Block 3, 5, 6 to 8.

On the other hand, the team of Tata Steel UISL got the big drain cleaned at Baridih Shakti Nagar.

It was told by Special Officer Sanjay Kumar that due to the very large and deep nature of all these drains, the cleaning workers have been directed to clean them using cleaning equipments taking special care of their safety.

Also, where Tata Steel UISL’s help can be taken, there is guidance to work together.

The cleanliness of all these drains is being monitored by Tata Steel UISL team Public Health Chief Manoj Singh Shekhawat, JNAC Trainee Executive Officer Santoshini Murmu, City Manager Christina Kachhap, Sanitary Inspectors P Kujur, Shantanu Ghosh and sanitation supervisors.

Everyone has been instructed by the special officer to make a list of all those who dump waste illegally and punish them under the provisions of the Jharkhand Municipal Act 2011 for encroachment or illegal dumping of garbage around drains.
