Jharkhand Degree Colleges Continue Intermediate Studies, Await Admission Dates

Jharkhand’s constituent degree and affiliated colleges will persist with intermediate studies, but are yet to set the application dates for admission.

JAMSHEDPUR – State degree and affiliated colleges have resolved to persist with intermediate studies, following a decision by the School Education and Literacy Department.

However, these colleges have not yet decided on the dates for admission applications.

Although news about this decision has reached the colleges via newspapers, the department has not yet issued an official notification, leaving them unable to confirm the details.

Amar Singh, principal of the Jamshedpur Co-operative College, has disclosed that the government has yet to release the related notification.

He assured that as soon as the document arrives, the college will initiate the enrollment process for Science, Commerce, and Arts streams in the intermediate division.

The college, according to Singh, is fully prepared for the admission process.

Similarly, SP Mahalik, principal of Jamshedpur Workers College, stated that the government’s order is yet to be received.

Once the order letter is available, the admission will be given consideration.

Mahalik also acknowledged that many students have already enrolled in various schools and colleges, raising the question of whether there will be a sufficient number of enrollees across all three faculties in the Intermediate course.
