JAMSHEDPUR – The heavy monsoon rains have caused havoc in the burn unit of Kolhan’s biggest hospital, MGM Hospital.

Rainwater seeped into the facility, disrupting operations and prompting an immediate response from local authorities.

Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy visited the hospital to evaluate the situation firsthand.

He voiced his concerns, stating that the health service was in a state of collapse.

Moreover, he added that the overall system in Jamshedpur had gone severely wrong.

In addition to his hospital visit, Mr. Roy also toured Burmamines S type coal township on Thursday.

He took the time to investigate a dispute that had arisen between the company and the residents concerning a local route.

Following the MLA’s intervention, the company agreed to reinstate electricity and water supply in Koyla Tal Basti.

Mr. Roy personally spoke to officials from Tata Steel UISL (formerly JUSCO), urging them to restore the power and water supply as quickly as possible.

In response, JUSCO officials visited the township and pledged to restore the services without delay.

Present during these proceedings were the MLA’s private secretary Sudhir Singh, BJMO Barmamains Mandal President Durga Rao, General Secretary Bablu Jha, among others.
