Former State BJP President Celebrates Independence Day in Chakulia
Dr. Dineshanand Goswami Honors Freedom Fighters and Calls for Unity
Former BJP state president leads flag-hoisting ceremony and pays tribute to Birsa Munda on India’s 78th Independence Day.
JAMSHEDPUR – Dr. Dineshanand Goswami, former BJP state president, marked India’s 78th Independence Day with a flag-hoisting ceremony and tribute to freedom fighters in Chakulia.
The celebration began at Dr. Goswami’s public relations office, where he raised the national flag.
Following the flag-hoisting, Dr. Goswami led a procession to Chakulia Chowk.
At the chowk, he garlanded the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, honoring the legendary freedom fighter.
Dr. Goswami emphasized the sacrifices made by martyrs of all religions for India’s independence.
"We must fulfill the dreams of our martyrs and strengthen our nation’s unity and integrity," he stated.
The former BJP leader called for fostering mutual brotherhood among all Indians.
Notable attendees included Padmashree Jamuna Tudu and Chakulia Mandal President Parth Mahato.
Other participants were Das Parimal, Mallick Mintu, Mahato Dilip, Das Appu, Kapat Lakhindra, Mahato Mahadev, Mandal Devashish, Patra Bharat, Mahato Sudhir, Singh Suresh, Mallick Harisadhan, Mallick Shambhu Nath, Bharti Munna, Chand Sandeep, and Das Balaram.
