Ratan Tata Accepts Jamshedpur Artist Asim Poddar’s Painting, Praises Talent

Renowned local artist Asim Poddar’s painting of Ratan Tata receives high praise, reflecting the vast talent pool in Jamshedpur’s youth.

JAMSHEDPUR – A painting by well-known local artist Asim Poddar, a resident of Mango, Jamshedpur, has been gaining appreciation nationwide.

The painting depicts Ratan Tata, the former chairman of Tata Sons, a veteran industrialist of the Indian industrial world.

After viewing the painting, Ratan Tata invited Asim to his Colaba residence in Mumbai on Monday and acquired the artwork.

The veteran industrialist became emotional after seeing the painting, took his time to appreciate it, and lauded Asim’s talent.

He further stated that Jamshedpur’s youth are not lacking in talent.

Asim shared that it was a dream for him to meet and pay his respects to Ratan Tata, a dream that came true that day.

He expressed his gratitude for Ratan Tata’s humility, respect, and encouragement, calling them invaluable.

Asim Poddar has been a big fan of Ratan Tata and has been trying to present his paintings to his idol for quite some time.

Notably, actor Sonu Sood had also invited Asim to Mumbai and appreciated his painting a few days ago.
