JAMSHEDPUR – The local non-profit organization Seva Hi Lakshya has taken up the cause of road repair in the Parsudih area of Jamshedpur.
Supported by Purnima Mallik, the area’s district council member, the organization is conducting a rigorous campaign for the repair of a badly damaged road.
To strengthen their efforts, a signature campaign was initiated.
The road in question was constructed many years ago, and has since been deteriorated significantly due to various reasons, including its disruption for pipeline laying.
The road was not rebuilt after the pipeline installation, leaving it in a dilapidated condition.
More than two lakh residents of the Parsudih area rely on this main road for their daily commute.
The road’s current poor condition has made it a site for frequent road accidents.
Seva Hi Lakshya NGO, along with Purnima Mallik, have made it their mission to ensure the road is repaired as soon as possible.
The signature campaign launched by the organization is aimed at putting pressure on the local authorities.
The signed appeal will be presented to the Deputy Commissioner of the district, demanding immediate construction of the road to ensure the safety and convenience of the locals.
