Teacher accused of ditching after false promise of marriage

Jamshedpur: A teacher from Chaibasa Bharbharia Manjhari has been accused of exploiting a 27-year-old woman from Mango Ulidih on false promise of marrying her and then having refused to marry her. The two had a relationship for the last 9 years, yet the man declined to marry her, accused the woman.

According to the complaint with the police, the woman learnt that the man was trying to marry another girl and was distributing invitation cards for his marriage ceremony.

The woman reached the Woman’s Help Desk of East Singhbhum Police on Tuesday with her family members and lodged a written complaint against the man.
