Jharkhand Police Commence Intensive Training on POCSO Act Medico-Legal Aspects
A comprehensive training program on the medico-legal aspects of the POCSO Act 2012 is inaugurated by Jharkhand Police’s Crime Investigation Department.
RANCHI – The Crime Investigation Department of Jharkhand Police has initiated a four-day intensive training program.
This program focuses on the medico-legal aspects of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) 2012.
The venue for this crucial training is the Research Training School located in Khel Village, Ranchi.
This program is being conducted with the collaboration of the Judiciary, particularly the Juvenile Justice cum-POCSO Committee.
Chief Guest and IAS Vandana Dadel, the member and chairman of this committee, graced the inauguration.
Also present was the Principal Secretary of Home Affairs and Disaster Management Department of the Jharkhand Government.
During the program, various dimensions of the Children’s Protection Act were extensively discussed by the present dignitaries.
Furthermore, how these aspects should be implemented in the societal context under this act was also elaborated upon.
