Carmel’s Ayanshi Wins Gold in 600m Race
Ayanshi practiced for one hour daily at school ground
A student of Carmel Junior College, Sonari, Ayanshi Rai, won the gold medal in the 600m sub-junior category at the zonal athletics held on Sunday.
JAMSHEDPUR – Ayanshi Rai, a Class 6 student from Carmel Junior College, Sonari, won the gold medal in the 600m sub-junior category at the zonal athletics held on Sunday.
Ayanshi attributed her success to her coaches Neeraj Sir, Shammi Teacher, Pradeep Sir, and her parents Mrs. Parul Rai and Mr. Ashutosh Rai, as well as her friends.
She revealed that she practiced daily from 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM at the school ground.
Ayanshi maintained a regular diet and ensured that she left no stone unturned in her practice.
She has a passion for literature and has read "The Girl Who Drank the Moon," four books by Sudha Murthy, and four books by Ruskin Bond, titled "The Short Stories."
Besides sports, Ayanshi is also interested in fashion and won gold in a makeover (fashion show walk) at Loyola School.
She envisions her future in the defense services.
