Woman’s Suicide in Mango Triggers Police Investigation
In a tragic event in Mango, a woman hangs herself post a domestic quarrel over a phone, prompting a police investigation.
Jamshedpur – An unfortunate incident occurred in Daiguttu, under the Mango police station jurisdiction, where a woman, Manisha Machhua, ended her life by hanging.
Following the receipt of information regarding the incident, local police officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.
The woman’s body was subsequently retrieved and transferred for autopsy.
The investigation into this tragic event commenced on Wednesday. Cheeku Machhua, the deceased’s husband and a local fisherman, gave his account of the day’s events.
He revealed that after lunch at home, he had visited his sister’s residence where he and Manisha watched a movie together.
At some point, he borrowed Manisha’s phone, intending to contact his officer. This act angered Manisha, who subsequently locked herself in a room and hanged herself.
In his statement to the police, Cheeku disclosed that he and Manisha were in a love marriage, having wed in a temple ceremony.
He has reported the incident to Mango police station.
Police are now thoroughly investigating the matter.
