Thieves Target Advocate’s House in Jamshedpur, Property Worth Rs 2 Lakh Stolen
Thieves strike advocate Suman Kumar’s residence in Jamshedpur, making off with cash, jewelry, and important case files among other valuables, amid ongoing home renovation and wedding preparations.
JAMSHEDPUR – The city’s rampant burglary menace showed no signs of relenting as the residence of Advocate Suman Kumar, located at Shiv Singh Bagan Road No. 9, Quarter No. 27 "A" under the jurisdiction of the Sidhgora police station, fell victim to thieves. The miscreants made away with valuables equivalent to Rs 1.5 to 2 lakh last night.
On discovering the burglary, the advocate immediately informed the local police who have since launched an investigation into the incident.
Kumar disclosed that the thieves struck between 3 to 5 in the morning, effectively locking him in his room while they ransacked the rest of the house.
Among the stolen items were a laptop, jewelry, cash, gas cylinders, case-related files, and clothing.
He also mentioned that his house is currently a hub of activity due to ongoing wedding preparations and construction work.
Kumar suspects the involvement of a laborer engaged in the renovation work.
Investigation into the matter is currently underway.
