In response to the recent Balasore train accident, Anand Marg organizes a blood donation camp and a free sapling distribution event, underlining the necessity of environmental preservation and modern humanism.
JAMSHEDPUR – Anand Marg, the socio-spiritual organization, has organized a two-hour blood donation camp, gathering 10 units of A+ and AB+ blood groups.
The blood drive was in honour of those who lost their lives in the Balasore train accident. Alongside the camp, Anand Marg has also launched a free sapling distribution initiative.
Anand Marg’s Environment Week is observed from June 8 to June 14. This event is dedicated to the victims of the Balasore train accident.
The organization has made arrangements to distribute between 1000 to 5000 free seed balls over the course of seven days.
These will be given out to various city organizations and rural villagers living near Sonari Kabir Mandir and Gadra Anand Marg Jagruti.
In addition to this, the method of creating seed balls will be demonstrated, emphasizing that not a single seed should go to waste.
The saplings will be distributed daily from 6 am to 8 am near Gadra Anand Marg Jagruti Shiv Mandir Gadra until June 14.
The Anand Marg Universal Relief Team Global and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Plants (PCAP) Jamshedpur, has distributed more than 150,000 saplings at no cost over the past 15 years.
Anand Marg advocates for an ideology of modern humanism, asserting that the welfare of nature and society is only possible when trees, plants, and animals are considered part of the familial fabric of life on Earth.
Under the campaign "Ek Ped Many Zindagi", Anand Marg began the seven-day free sapling distribution on World Environment Day in Sonari and Gadda Solapur for the peace of the souls lost in the train accident.
The organization reinforces that to save the Earth, humans must plant more trees and perceive all creatures and plant life as members of our Earth family.
They propose modern humanism as the ultimate ideal, the only path to Earth’s welfare.
