Sakchi Police station’s patrol team nabs a youth, found in possession of an illegal country-made pistol and live cartridges near Jubilee Park Gate.
JAMSHEDPUR – The patrol team from Sakchi police station in Jamshedpur has reported another successful operation.
Acting on a tip-off received on Saturday, the team apprehended a young man named from Jubilee Park Gate No. 1.
He was found in possession of an illegal country-made pistol, two 7.65 bore live cartridges, a black Pulsar motorcycle, and a Vivo mobile phone.
He was subsequently sent to judicial custody on Sunday.
Further investigations are ongoing, with authorities conducting raids based on information provided by the accused in a bid to apprehend other potential accomplices in the case.
Notably, this is the second incident of its kind in the span of just two days.
Two days prior, another youth was detained near Jubilee Park, also found to be carrying a weapon.
As of now, the police are investigating the matter.
