Illegal Encroachments Cleared in Sunder Nagar Khakhadi Pada, Jamshedpur

In a determined effort, government land in Khakhadi Pada, Jamshedpur, was cleared of illegal constructions under tight security measures.

JAMSHEDPUR – A successful operation against illegal encroachment was conducted on government land in Khakhadi Pada under the Sunder Nagar police station jurisdiction in Jamshedpur.

A total of 16 makeshift and permanent houses were demolished in the process, making the area encroachment-free.

For the sake of security, strict measures were put in place to manage any potential issues. Legal proceedings were ongoing against the owners of the buildings constructed on government-owned plot no. 239 in Khakhadi Pada.

The action was carried out under the supervision of four magistrates and a substantial police force, ensuring security and orderliness during the operation.

Circle Inspector Himmat Lal Mahto, speaking about the action, stated that this operation serves as a lesson to individuals who fall prey to brokers and unlawfully construct homes on government land. He emphasized that ultimately these people end up facing the consequences.

He said that this should stand as a deterrent against future illegal encroachments.
