Jharkhand Academic Council Announces Inter Arts and Commerce Results, Toppers’ Copies to be Uploaded Online
Jharkhand Board releases results for Inter Arts and Commerce exams. Srishti Kumari and Rosie Parveen emerge as toppers. Pass percentage slightly drops.
RANCHI – The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the results of the Inter Arts and Commerce examinations.
This year, 95.97% of students passed in Inter Arts, and 88.60% passed in Inter Commerce. JAC President Anil Kumar Mahato released the results on Tuesday, stating that the examination copies of the top three students from both the 10th and 12th grade will be uploaded to the official website.
Srishti Kumari emerged as the state topper in Commerce, while Rosie Parveen claimed the top spot in Arts.
Approximately seven and a half lakh students took the matriculation and intermediate examinations this year.
The Inter Arts examination saw a total of 2,25,945 students appear, out of which 2,16,856 have passed. In Inter Commerce, 28,382 students wrote the exam, and 25,147 students passed.
In terms of gender, girls surpassed boys in both the Inter Arts and Commerce examinations.
The pass percentage for girls in Inter Arts was 96.58%, with 1,26,981 girls passing out of 1,31,470 who appeared.
For Inter Commerce, the pass percentage for girls was 90.61%, higher than the boys’ pass rate of 87.01%.
However, the pass percentage for both Commerce and Arts saw a slight decrease compared to last year. In 2022, the result of Commerce was 92.75% and Arts was 97.43%.
Meanwhile, last week’s results for Matriculation and Inter Science were also announced. The pass percentage for Matriculation stood at 95.38%, slightly lower than last year’s rate.
