DESK – The Tele-Law program, an initiative under the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, achieved a significant milestone by providing pre-litigation advice to 40 lakh beneficiaries across the country.

Tele-Law: Reaching the Unreached is an innovative e-interface mechanism designed to provide legal advice and consultation at a pre-litigation stage.

It aims to connect those in need of legal aid, particularly the needy and marginalized, with Panel Lawyers via video conferencing or telephonic facilities.

These facilities are available at Common Service Centres (CSCs) located at the Panchayat level.

Since its launch in 2017, the Tele-Law service has become more accessible to the public via the Tele-Law Mobile App, available on both Android and iOS platforms. This technological expansion has increased the program’s reach, helping countless individuals receive the legal advice they require.
