He accused them of maintaining a “slavery mentality” and opposing the development of a new India. Das argued that the opposition, particularly the Congress party, was unable to accept the new reality of a democratic India and the rise of a leader from a humble background.

The former Chief Minister also called out the Congress party for its alleged nepotism, accusing it of treating India as a family heirloom.

He celebrated the growing popularity of Narendra Modi, not just within India but globally, and suggested that this has unsettled opposition parties.
