PM Narendra Modi inaugurates the new Lok Sabha. Ex-CM Raghubar Das highlights BJP’s vision for India and counters opposition criticism.
JAMSHEDPUR – The former CM of Jharkhand, Raghubar Das, has flayed the opposition parties for boycotting the inauguration of the new Parliament Building in New Delhi.
Calling the inauguration a momentous event, he said that it is a significant milestone for Indian democracy.
He enthusiastically supported the vision of the Prime Minister for a new India.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the people of Jharkhand, Das described Modi as the world’s most popular and beloved Prime Minister.
He expressed optimism about the future, stating that this new parliament, the “temple of democracy”, would work towards resolving the public’s problems.
Further, he emphasized the BJP’s goal of eradicating a “slavery mentality” from India, promising that the nation would emerge as an economic superpower in the coming years.
Das was critical of opposition parties who questioned the inauguration.
He accused them of maintaining a “slavery mentality” and opposing the development of a new India. Das argued that the opposition, particularly the Congress party, was unable to accept the new reality of a democratic India and the rise of a leader from a humble background.
The former Chief Minister also called out the Congress party for its alleged nepotism, accusing it of treating India as a family heirloom.
He celebrated the growing popularity of Narendra Modi, not just within India but globally, and suggested that this has unsettled opposition parties.
