The Tamil Nadu Multiplex Association has refused to show the film in theaters within two days of its release, ‘The Kerala Story’.

Explaining the reason for this announcement, the association said that the film can become a threat to the law and order of the state.
The film is not getting good response in Tamil Nadu this particular reason has been given.
Many political organizations in the state have threatened the theater owner not to show the film in any case, failing which the theater itself will be closed.
