Jamshedpur – As summer temperatures soar, Professor Giridhar Ramachandran of XLRI has teamed up with Kerala Samajam to set up water and buttermilk stalls in the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) office premises.
This initiative, which was also undertaken last year, aims to provide relief to those suffering from the heat.
Special Officer of JNAC, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, congratulated Professor Girdhar and Kerala Samajam for their noble work and encouraged others to support the establishment of similar stalls in different areas.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration and community involvement in providing assistance during the hot summer months.
Professor Giridhar Ramachandran said that a total of four water and buttermilk stalls have been set up so far, with the cooperation of various organizations.
He further explained that by partnering with other groups to establish stalls across the city, they aim to offer health-beneficial water and buttermilk drinks to quench the thirst of those in need.
This commendable effort was lauded by those who visited the stall and it not only highlights the importance of community collaboration but also showcases the positive impact that such initiatives can have on the well-being of local residents during the challenging summer months.
