Jharkhand Govt to Launch Affordable Air Ambulance Service for Residents on April 28

Jharkhand first state to launch affordable Govt air ambulance service on April 28, providing accessible transportation for patients with serious illnesses.

Ranchi – The Jharkhand government will be launching an air ambulance service for residents, starting from Ranchi on April 28.

The service aims to provide affordable transportation for patients suffering from serious illnesses. Jharkhand will be the first state in India to offer an air ambulance service operated by the government.

Fares will range from INR 3 lakh to INR 8 lakh, depending on the destination, and the service will be available from several cities within the state.

The government also offers up to INR 10 lakh to patients with severe illnesses under the Chief Minister’s Serious Illness Scheme.

The service will be launched by the Chief Minister from the State Hangar of Ranchi on April 28.

There will be a difference of 60,000 from the rate of booking a private air ambulance.

The air ambulance fare from Ranchi to various destinations is as follows: 5 lakh to Delhi, 7 lakh to Mumbai, 8 lakh to Chennai, 3 lakh to Kolkata, 7 lakh to Hyderabad, 3 lakh 30 thousand to Varanasi, 5 lakh to Lucknow, and 8 lakh to Tirupati.

For other parts of the country, an additional 1 lakh 10 thousand per hour will be charged. Besides Ranchi, air ambulance services will be available from Dhanbad, Dumka, Deoghar, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, and Giridih. An air ambulance will be ready to depart within 2 hours of confirmation.

Moreover, the government offers up to 10 lakhs for patients with severe illnesses under the Chief Minister’s Serious Disease Scheme.

Jharkhand will be the first state in the country from where the facility of air ambulance will be made available by the government.
