BJM Mango Municipal Committee Visits Sukna Basti, Discusses Public Issues and Lack of Facilities

BJM Committee visits Sukna Basti to address public issues, criticizes Mango Municipal Corporation for poor facilities despite high holding tax collection.

Jamshedpur – The Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha (BJM) Mango Municipal Corporation Committee, led by Convener Kulwinder Singh Pannu, visited Baliguma Sukna Basti to address public concerns and discuss the lack of adequate facilities.

Despite Mango Municipal Corporation collecting substantial holding tax from residents, public facilities remain in poor condition, the committee noted.

During the visit, the committee members launched a contact and problem solution campaign and assessed issues such as broken roads, dilapidated electric poles, and water drainage. District President of BJM, Subodh Srivastava, spoke directly with local residents who highlighted concerns regarding electricity, water, roads, cleanliness, street lights, and toilets.

The BJM leaders promised to bring these issues to the attention of Mango Municipal Corporation officials, urging them to take immediate action.

Srivastava criticized the corporation for collecting significant holding tax from the poor and middle-income residents without improving public facilities.

Srivastava warned that if the Municipal Corporation fails to address these public issues, BJM may stage a protest against the administration.
