Sakchi Ambagan Idgah Prepares for Eid Prayers Amid Scorching Heat
Eid prayers set for 8:00 am at Ambagan Idgah in Sakchi, with preparations underway to accommodate 15,000 worshipers amid rising temperatures.
JAMSHEDPUR – Preparations are underway for Eid prayers at Ambagan Idgah in Sakchi, with a scheduled start time of 8:00 am to avoid the rising temperature.
The decision was announced during a press conference, emphasizing that no delay would be made for anyone keeping in mind the increase in temperatures.
Mufti Jainulabdeen, the Pesh Imam of Mango Bagan Mosque, will lead the Eid prayers.
He will also address the congregation before the prayers, offering guidance on how devotees should lead their lives according to the laws of Islam and contribute to the upliftment of the community.
Riyaz Sharif of the Sakchi Ambagan Masjid and Idgah Committee stated that approximately 15,000 worshipers are expected to attend the Eid prayers at Ambagan Idgah.
The event will be monitored by CCTV cameras, and three entry gates have been set up for attendees.
The venue is currently undergoing thorough cleaning in preparation for the prayers.
The committee’s measures ensure that the Eid prayers will be conducted smoothly and safely, prioritizing the well-being of the attendees amid the ongoing heatwave, he said.
