Ditched by Beau, Woman Attempts Suicide in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: A love story in Parsudih Sopodera took a dark turn on Sunday when a woman, a resident of Parsudih, Sopodera, who was deceived by her lover, tried to commit suicide.

According to sources, S Bagh, a resident of Bistupur, fled after giving assurance of marriage to her.

The woman, who was deceived in love, reached S Bagh’s house, which is located behind the Bishtupur Ram temple, on Sunday and tried to commit suicide there by cutting her vein. High-voltage drama ensued during the incident, and some local people informed the police on the 100 number.

After receiving the information, the PCR team reached the spot and immediately took the girl to MGM Hospital for treatment.

The girl told the police that she had gotten married in 2015 and had somehow come in contact with S Bagh.

She claimed that it was because of S Bagh that her husband left her, and S Bagh had promised her about marrying her several times.

The woman claimed that S Bagh had promised to marry her after a written complaint was lodged in the Bistupur police station.

The two were supposed to get married on Sunday, but when she reached S Bagh’s house, his father made him run away.

She said that S Bagh’s father refused to get him married to her, which led to her making a bid on her life.

The woman is currently undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital, and her condition is said to be stable.
