Central Committee of AJSU Party announces series of protests and programs
Jamshedpur: The AJSU Party’s President, Sudesh Kumar Mahato, today said that his party would soon expose the alleged fraud and corruption of the Hemant Soren government.
Mahato criticized the government for reneging on its three-year election promise and endangering the state’s youth at the party’s Central Committee meeting in Jamshedpur.
A number of demonstrations and initiatives have been announced by the AJSU party, beginning with the creation of Jan Panchayats in each assembly constituency.
On April 13, the party will organize an Aakrosh March in each district to express its displeasure with how the government is managing employment policy and youth employment possibilities.
Mahato demanded a caste census to determine the proper regulation for OBC reservation and charged that the administration had abandoned the triple test in municipal elections.
He said that Chandraprakash Chaudhary, a member of the AJSU party, has appealed the case to the Supreme Court.
Mahato has given party members instructions to organize 100,000 active workers in advance of the national convention in October.
Ranchi will host the conference from October 6 to October 8.
The party’s organizational structure will also be a priority, he said.
Speakers at the Central Committee meeting included former minister Ramchandra Sahis, MLA Dr. Lambodar Mahato, and MP Chandra Prakash Chowdhary.
According to Chowdhary, the win of the NDA candidate in Ramgarh heralds the beginning of the end for the Hemant Soren administration and the UPA coalition.
An elaborate schedule of events was released by the AJSU Party, including festivities for Raghunath Mahato Martyrdom Day on April 5, Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti activities on April 14, and a State-Level Social Justice Yatra on April 23.
There are other seminars and gatherings planned from April through October.
At the gathering, hundreds of supporters, including philanthropist Akash Sinha, creator of the Asian Sky Foundation, joined the AJSU Party.
