Croma’s Magical Summer Sale offers customers significant discounts on a range of appliances and provides a glimpse into the last year’s hottest trends in North Indian cities. According to Croma’s summer trends last year, a majority of AC buyers 59% preferred 1.5 ton, with New Delhi having the highest percentage of 75%, while 6% of buyers opted for 2-tonnage ACs, primarily in Kolkata and Gurgaon. Window ACs were most popular in New Delhi with 41% as compared to other cities. On the other hand, Frost Free refrigerators <300L saw the highest penetration in Noida 31 %, while Mumbai and Noida saw the highest penetration of Refrigerator Frost Free >400L with 16%. In the case of Side-by-Side refrigerators, Gurgaon had the highest penetration rate of 8%. Interestingly, half of the refrigerators sold were purchased using card payments.
