Golmuri Tuiladungri youth shot and assaulted, seriously injured

Jamshedpur: A youth named Amandeep Singh, a resident of Golmuri Tuiladungri, was shot and assaulted by a group of eight to ten youths causing him serious injuries Saturday.

The attackers also shot the victim and struck him in the head with stones and sticks. The bullet has pierced the victim’s back causing him serious injuries. He was rushed to TMH, where his condition is stated to be serious.

According to information received, Amandeep Singh is a committed member of the Sanatan Utsav Samiti and has been active in the programmes of the Hindu community.

He is currently being treated at TMH hospital, where physicians are working to extract a bullet that has stuck in his back.

No arrests have been made yet. The police are investigating the case.
