Hindu Sena calls for ban on release of Pathaan movie

Jamshedpur: Hindu Sena, a social and religious outfit, has flayed the alleged anti-Hindu songs and scenes of the soon-to-be-released movie Pathaan and called for a ban on its release.

A delegation of Hindu Sen met the DC and submitted a memorandum urging the administration to ban release of the movie as it violates the sentiments of Hindus.

The memorandum says that the movie “Pathaan” not be shown in theaters anywhere in the state as it hurts Hindu feelings.

Even before the Pathaan film is released, a particular song of the movie “besharam rang” has got embroiled in a controversy.

The delegation alleged that the movie has hurt the sentiments of the Hindus by using symbolism that violates the sentiments of the Hindu community.

The delegation said that if their demands are not met by the administration, they would be formed to launch an intense agitation against the movie and would demand complete ban on showing it in theatres.
