Dr. Ajoy Kumar draws flak for ‘evil philosophy’ remark

Jamshedpur BJP leaders have objected to Dr. Ajoy’s remarks and launched a protest against him asking him to withdraw his remarks and apologize for it.

Jamshedpur: Dr. Ajoy Kumar, the Ex-MP of Jamshedpur and Congress leader has come under fire from BJP for saying in a remark that NDA’s candidate for the President’s post Draupadi Murmu represents “a very evil philosophy of India”.

In a conversation with the news agency ANI, the Congress leader reportedly said – “Draupadi Murmu should not be made a symbol of Adivasi.”

An ANI report says that while talking about the other presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha, he remarked – “ It is not about Draupadi Murmu. Yashwant Sinha is also a good candidate and Murmu is also a decent person. But she represents a very evil philosophy of India. We should not make her a symbol of Adivasi. We have President Ram Nath Kovind, Hathras happened. Has he said a word? The condition of Scheduled Castes has become worse.”

However, his remark has not gone down well with BJP and its supporters, who termed his remark as being anti-tribal.

Odisha BJP MLAs even protested inside the State Assembly against Congress leader Dr Ajoy Kumar’s remarks on NDA’s Presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu.

In Jamshedpur too, the BJP workers held a massive protest against the controversial remarks made by Dr. Ajay Kumar, former MP of Jamshedpur and National Spokesperson of Congress, in relation to the NDA’s presidential candidate, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu.

The BJP workers held a protest and burnt an effigy of Dr. Ajay Kumar in Jamshedpur.

Ex-MLA of Potka and BJP leader Maneka Sardar said that Congress has been exploiting tribals and women from the very beginning. She said that BJP would continue its protests until Dr. Ajay Kumar apologizes.

On the other hand, Jamshedpur City BJP in-charge Subodh Singh Guddu blamed the Congress Working President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and said that at their behest Dr. Ajay Kumar has made indecent remarks against Mrs. Draupadi Murmu.

He said that until the Congress, Mrs. Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Dr. Ajay Kumar publicly apologize to Draupadi Murmu, the protest of the Congressmen will continue.
