Dr. Ajoy Kumar bats for inclusion of Hindi in Jharkhand exams

The former MP of Jamshedpur accused the BJP of shedding crocodile tears on the issue of language.

Jamshedpur: The member of All India Congress Committee and the former MP of Jamshedpur, Dr. Ajay Kumar, today came out in support of inclusion of Hindi in Jharkhand examinations and took a jibe at the BJP leaders on the ongoing language dispute in the state.

He said that BJP is shedding crocodile tears and the party has nothing to do with languages.

At the same time, he has urged the Chief Minister of the state Hemant Soren to give place to Hindi language in the language list of the medium of examination.

Dr. Ajay Kumar said that all the regional languages ​​that have been excluded, including Bhojpuri, Angika, Maithili, have Hindi as script.

For this reason, the Congress party is constantly demanding the Chief Minister to include Hindi language in the state examinations, he said.

At the same time, he said that BJP is shedding crocodile tears on the language issue.

He said that when the BJP government was in power last time, and even before that, since the formation of the state, there was a BJP government for 18 years in the state. He said that during that time they did not appoint even a single regional language teacher. Nor did they bring any provision in the schools for this, he said.

He said that BJP is trying to foment trouble in the name of language and said that his party is solidly in support of inclusion of Hindi in the list of languages approved for examinations in the state.
