BJP demands better amenities in Jubilee Park

The Mahanagar BJP president Gunjan Yadav has demanded better amenities in Jubilee Park and said that vehicular traffic on the road inside park should not be allowed.

Jamshedpur: The BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit has sought better and more amenities for the visitors in Jubilee Park. The party urged the Tata Steel management and the DC of East Singhbhum to ensure that better amenities are ensured for the visitors, park is kept open every day and discontinue traffic of vehicles inside the park to avoid accidents.

On Thursday, the president of Mahanagar BJP Gunjan Yadav said that Jubilee Park is important for the city.

He has said that due to the greenery and clean environment in Jubilee Park, for the morning walkers, citizens and tourists it has always been a center of attraction.

Gunjan Yadav demanded that amenities available in Jubilee Park be expanded.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the local people, he demanded to have one more gate for the people coming from Marine Drive side.

He also demanded immediate repair of the road that is under repair within the park.

Gunjan Yadav said that there should be a complete ban on the movement of vehicles inside the park from the point of view of environment.

He said that due to discontinuance of vehicular traffic, the residents of the city would be able to spend time in the park with their families and children without worry.

Gunjan Yadav has urged the Tata Steel management to run battery operated cars for the convenience of senior citizens and differently-abled in the park.

He asked the company management to make the environment of the park better and have facilities of open gym, free cycling, walking and jogging tracks inside the park. He said that there should be more toilets for men and women, proper lighting, elaborate security arrangements, CCTV cameras, drinking water and food court inside the park.

He also demanded that identity card should not be mandatory for entry into the park.

He expressed hopes that in the coming days the park would prove to be more convenient, accessible and health-friendly than before.
