Ulidih residents demonstrate at Ulidih Police Station against theft incidents

Jamshedpur: Residents of Ulidih demonstrated against the spurt in incidents of theft in their area at the Ulidih police station.

The locals said that they are facing a lot of problems due to regular theft in their area.

They said that they have been informing the Ulidih police about incidents of theft occurring regularly in the area, but to no avail.

Later, seeing no action from the part of the police, they contacted BJP leader Vikas Singh.

Vikas Singh held a demonstration on the premises of Ulidih Police Station.

The Ulidih officer-in-charge assured the locals that action would be taken to curb the incidents of theft.

A local resident Geeta Singh said that on the night of 21st, a thief had entered her house by breaking the grille of her house.

She said that she informed the police station, but no action was taken.

Next day, she said, a thief entered in a neighbour’s house. The locals even caught the thief, but let him go later.

The BJP leader Vikas singh said that the officer-in-charge has assured that action would be taken soon.

Those who took part in the demonstration included Amarinder Paswan, Rakesh Lodhi, Rajesh Sahu, Pyarelal Shah, Jitu Gupta, Sushil Sharma, Manoj Ojha, Ram Singh Kushwaha, Rahul Yadav, Ravinder Saini, Vikesh Dubey, Ajay Gorai, Ajay Lohar, Geeta Devi, Mukul Dev , Devraj Gagrai, Vivek Singh Rajput, Sandeep Sharma, Ashok Singh, Rita Gope, Savitri Devi, Madhuri Gope, Anita Devi were included.
