Stones pelted at Kadma Green Park Basti house, several injured

Jamshedpur: Some local youths created a ruckus on Sunday afternoon in Green Park Basti under the jurisdiction of Kadma police station of the city.

Heavy stone pelting was reportedly done at one Amit’s house. Some women of the house were also injured during stone pelting.

While Amit himself was injured seriously in the stone pelting.

On receiving information about the incident, Kadma police reached the site of occurrence. However, by that time the miscreants had fled the site.

Amit Driver’s wife Mamuni Driver has alleged that some youths of Baghe Basti were involved in creating this ruckus.

She said that about 20 to 30 youths of Baghe Basti were involved in stone pelting and assault.

Amit has made filed a written complaint against the miscreants at the police station.

Amit’s wife claimed that on Sunday some young men and girls were dancing there and creating a scene.

When they were asked to desist from it, the youths started abusing her.

She said that when her husband came to protest, the youths beat him up too. She said that soon 20 to 30 youths arrived at the place and started pelting stones at their house. Some women of the house and her husband Amit was injured.

The police are investigating the case.
