Dhatkidih Harijan Basti residents demand action in Julie Ghosh murder case

Jamshedpur: The residents of Dhatkidih Harijan Basti today reached the DC Office and pressed for immediate arrest of the culprits responsible for the killing of a woman Julie Ghosh in the bustee.

A delegation of the basti residents also submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commission urging the administration to take steps to solve the mystery behind the murder and arrest those who have committed the heinous crime.

Later, leader of the delegation of Dhatikidh Harijan Basti residents, Suresh Mukhi said that never has such an incident occurred in the basti in which a woman was killed. He said that the brutal murder of Julie Ghosh in her own house has caused apprehension and fear in the mind of all the women.

He expressed his discontent at the fact that the police has not been able to find the culprits behind the murder of the woman.

He said that the murder of the woman has caused a lot of resentment among the residents of Harijan Basti. He also warned that if the culprits are not arrested within the next 15 days, then the entire Mukhi Samaj and the people of Harijan Basti would be forced to launch an agitation.
