JMM workers burn effigy of Babulal Marandi, Deepak Prakash, blame them for attack on CM cavalcade

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha workers and supporters on Thursday demonstrated and burnt the effigies of the former CM of Jharkhand and BJP leader Babulal Marandi and state BJP president Deepak Prakash blaming them for the recent attack on Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s cavalcade in Ranchi.

The Ranchi police have identified and arrested the persons behind the attack on CM’s cavalcade. However, JMM leaders feel that the former CM and state BJP president Deepak Prakash too share the blame for the attack.

Angered at the brutal rape and murder of a girl in Ormanjhi, a group of people had stopped the cavalcade of the CM Hemant Soren. Stones were also pelted during the incident and the police had to rescue the CM by using an alternate route.

On Thursday, JMM leaders and workers demonstrated in Jamshedpur and burnt the effigies of BJP leaders. They charged BJP leaders of violating the constitutional morality in the state.

They also warned that the party would launch an agitation against them if they continue with their political tricks.
