City BJP welcomes decision to hike scholarship budget for SCs and STs

Jamshedpur: The BJP Anusuchit Jati Morcha has welcomed the new scholarship budget announced by the union government for the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students. The Morcha has congratulated the union government for the decision.

It may be added here that earlier Rs. 1100 cr were allocated for scholarship to matriculate students. However, the union government has hiked the budget to 6,000 cr. An announcement to this effect was made on December 23 last.

The BJP city unit has welcomed the central government’s decision and said that by this step the union government has proven that it keeps the interest of the scheduled castes and Dalits at its heart.

The city president of BJP Gunjan Yadav today said that the benefits of this decision would be visible very soon in the entire country.
