27 days of no corona death, total death toll remains at 374, 14 new cases on Monday

Jamshedpur: No coronavirus death was reported on Monday too in East Singhbhum district. It was the 27th straight day when zero corona-caused death was reported from Jamshedpur. The total death toll for the district remained at 374 at the end of the day.

According to official data, however, 14 new coronavirus infection cases were detected in the district, taking the total number of infections to 17,678.

On the other hand, 17 patients were also cured and discharged. With this, the total number of recoveries have reached 17,082.

For now, the city has only 222 active cases of coronavirus infection.

The district has tested 4,71,968 samples till date. Out of these, 17,678 have tested positive, while 4,54,290 have tested negative.

For now, the recovery rate for the district is at 97%, mortality rate has come down to 2.1%, while the positivity rate too has come down to 3.7%.
