23 days and no corona death, total death toll 374, 31 new cases

Jamshedpur: No coronavirus death was reported on Thursday in East Singhbhum district. It was the 23nd straight day when zero corona-caused death was reported from Jamshedpur. The total death toll for the district remained at 374 at the end of the day.

According to official data, however, 31 new coronavirus infection cases were detected in the district, taking the total number of infections to 17,616.

On the other hand, 31 patients were also cured and discharged. With this, the total number of recoveries have reached 17,014.

For now, the city has only 228 active cases of coronavirus infection.

The district has tested 4,64,054 samples till date. Out of these, 17,616 have tested positive, while 4,46,438 have tested negative.

For now, the recovery rate for the district is at 97%, mortality rate has come down to 2.1%, while the positivity rate too has come down to 3.8%.
