Vikas Mela organised to mark 1 year of Hemant Soren Govt

All govt schemes would be implemented with full transparency: DC

Jamshedpur: A district-level Vikas Mela cum Asset Distribution Function was organised on Tuesday at Ravindra Bhawan to mark the completion of 1 year of Hemant Soren government. Ghatsila MLA Ramdas Soren was the chief guest of the programme.

After the live telecast of state-level function held at Morabadi Grounds in Ranchi, the district level programme was launched by Ramdas Soren, MLA Ghatsila, Mangal Kalindi, MLA Jugsalai, Samir Mahanty, MLA Baharagora, Sanjiv Sardar, MLA Potka, Suraj Kumar, DC, East Singhbhum, SSP Dr. M Tamil Vanan, DFO Mamta Priyadarshi and DDC Parmeshwar Bhagat.

A Progress Report, showing the achievements of the district during the last one year, was also released on the occasion.

In his address, the DC Suraj Kumar enumerated the achievements made by East Singhbhum. He said that the purpose of the Vikas Mela is to apprise the people about the achievements as well as to distribute assets and benefits among the citizenry.

More than 30 stalls were set up in Vikas Mela displaying useful information for the common masses. He said that separate counters have been set up for Aadhar Numbers and health camp has also been organised.

Counters for revenue, welfare, MNREGA, PM Awas Yojana and bank related services were also set up.

The DC assured everyone that all the schemes would be implemented with full transparency.

In his address, the Potka MLA Sanjiv Sardar said that the government is trying to fulfil all its promises.

Baharagora MLA Samir Mahanty said that Hemant Soren government symbolises the hope and expectations of the people of the state.

Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi said that the government would fulfil all its promises and would meet the expectations of the people.

Ghatsila MLA Ramdas Soren said that the government would spare no effort to improve the condition of the people and expedite development.

Vikas Mela organised at Tagore Academy campus in East Singhbhum to mark 1 year of Hemant Soren goverment.
