Coal-laden truck overturns near DC office, driver and cleaner sustain minor injuries

Jamshedpur: A coal-laden truck overturned near DC office under the jurisdiction of Bistupur police station Friday late night. No casualty was reported.

According to police sources, a truck overturned near DC Office late night. As it was late night hours, it did not cause any traffic disruption.

Fortunately, the driver and the cleaner of the truck were not hurt seriously in the accident, although the truck had overturned after the driver lost control of it. Both sustained minor injuries and escaped serious consequences.

The unfortunate accident did not disrupt traffic movement. The police did find it difficult to remove the truck from the middle of the road. In the morning, they roped in Jusco and with their help lifted the truck and then the coal scattered on the road was re-loaded on the truck. The road was cleared and normalcy was restored.
