15th day of no corona death in Jamshedpur, only 196 active cases in district

Jamshedpur: There has been no coronavirus-caused death in Jamshedpur on Wednesday. This was 15th straight day when nil corona death was reported in the district.

According to official data, the total death toll remains at 374. However, 20 fresh covid-19 cases were detected in East Singhbhum district, taking the total number of infections to 17,384.

On the other hand, on Wednesday, 21 patients were also cured and discharged. With this, the total number of recoveries in the district has reached 16,814.

The district has tested 4.46,001 samples till date. Out of these 17,384 came positive, while 4,28,617 tested negative.

For now, the district has only 196 active cases of coronavirus infection.

The recovery rate in the district still remains at 97%, while the mortality rate too is at 2.2%. Positivity rate too is at 3.9%.
