Saryu Roy visits Sakchi market, inspects shops affected in fire

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy visited Sakchi market and inspected the damage caused by fire that broke out in the market Monday night. He was accompanied by a delegation of Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce.

Saryu Roy inspected the shops impacted by the fire and sought information about the extent of damage caused. He also met the affected shopkeepers.

The local shopkeepers took him to the shops that were damaged in the fire and gave information about the estimated loss caused by the fire.

Saryu Roy also toured the inner areas of the market and saw the miserable condition most of the shops were doing business in. The shopkeepers urged him to ensure that the market is developed as soon as possible.

Saryu Roy assured the shopkeepers that he would take proper steps and would meet the concerned department officials and ensure that they get the compensation for the damage caused in the fire.
