No corona death on Sunday in Jharkhand, 172 new cases

Ranchi: No coronavirus caused death was reported from any district in Jharkhand on Sunday. The total death toll remains at 1010. On Saturday 2 deaths were reported in the state.

According to official data, 172 new cases of coronavirus infections have been detected in the state on Sunday. With this, the total number of infections in the state have reached 1,13,025. However, 1,10,307 patients have already been cured and discharged. Only 1,708 active coronavirus cases are being treated right now in the state.

As per official data, the state has tested 46,24,374 samples till date. Out of these, 1,13,025 were found positive.

On Sunday itself, 182 patients were also cured and discharged.

East Singhbhum district remains the worst-affected district of the state. However, for the last 11 days, no deaths have been reported even in East Singhbhum district showing a definite sign of decline in the pandemic.
