10th day of no Corona death, total death toll remains at 374

36 new cases, 24 cured, recovery rate 97%, death rate 2.2%, positivity 4%

Jamshedpur: Friday too brought a big relief to the city of Jamshedpur, as well as to East Singhbhum district, as no deaths were reported from anywhere on the 10th consecutive day. The total death toll remains at 374 for East Singhbhum district.

According to official data, 36 new coronavirus positive cases were detected, however, while 24 patients were also declared cured and were discharged. The total number of infections in the district have now risen to 17,260, while the total number of recoveries in the district have reached 16,666.

For now, the district has 220 active cases of coronavirus.

The recovery rate for the district has been hovering around 97% for quite some time. The mortality rate too is at 2.2% for the last several days, while the positivity rate has come down to 4.0%.

Till date, the district has tested 4,33,235 samples. Out of these, 17,260 samples have tested positive.
