Importance of North direction

Directions play a very important role in human life. Today we will discuss on the importance of North direction. North direction is assumed as a very positive and useful direction in any plot of land, already built houses, factories, shops and offices.

The deity of this direction is Kuber, the treasurer of the gods in the heaven. As per some tantriks and vedic experts, this direction is controlled by Soma, the God of nectar, herb or the moon. The related planet of this area is Mercury (Budha). Mercury is the signifier of wealthy, business and some virtual abilities.

According to the basic principle of vastu, North is useful for collected wealth. This area must be kept clean, less stuffed and down compared to the South area. Entrance in North is very good. It creates new opportunities for enhancing the wealth and assets. Money should be kept in the North area. (money kept in South generally goes in vain).

Rooms in North area are also useful generally for children, non-married persons and married persons as well as junior-most members in the family. These rooms are not good for seniors or the guardian of the family.

Pooja room in the North direction is a good option for poojaghar after Northeast and East. But kitchen is not considered good here, although it is less harmful than the kitchen of ishan kon and nairitya jon. Last option is to be given to this area for kitchen.

North welcomes water. This direction is very much good for storing water, underground water tank, borewell, etc. But do not make overhead tank in this area. Also avoid constructing a septic tank here. Septic tank will hinder the positivity of the house. It is also not good for vaastu.

This area is very critical for making toilets especially near the North-East area and middle area. But near the North-West direction, toilets can be made. Only for bathing and washing purpose is North a good option. Staircase is avoidable here but it may be made near North-West. North construction should not be too high.
