Young girl dies after consuming poisonous substance in Saldih, Aditypaur

Jamshedpur: An 18-year-old girl living in her aunt’s house in Saldih Bustee under the jurisdiction of Adityapur police station of Seraikela-Kharsawan district died after consuming some poisonous substance.

According to information received, last year some marriage negotiations had taken place between her family and a boy’s family for her marriage. But, for some reason some differences arose between the two families and she was going through acute stress and depression due to this.

According to information received, owing to mental health issues, she was living with her aunt in her house in Saldih. However, on Tuesday, she allegedly consumed some poisonous substance. The children of the family informed her aunt. With the help of the locals, she was rushed to MGMCH, but unfortunately she could not survive.

The hospital administration has informed the Adityapur police station about the incident.

Entire family is shocked and in utter grief after the death of the girl. Arrival of the parents of the deceased girl is awaited. Her demise has made everyone in Saldih very sad.
