Corona kills 1 in Jharkhand, total deaths 964


2,016 active cases, 167 new cases found, mortality rate 0.88%

Ranchi: After zero deathCoronavirus relents, no death on Monday, total deaths 369 due to coronavirus pandemic on Sunday, Jharkhand did lose 1 more life to the pandemic on Monday, taking the total number of lives lost in the state to 964.

On the other hand, on Monday 167 new cases of coronavirus infection were also detected. 288 patients have been declared cured and were discharged from different hospitals. 1 person has died.

According to official data, the state has tested 41,78,915 samples till date. Out of these, 1,09,151 samples have tested positive. Out of these, 1,06,171 patients have already been cured and discharged.

967 persons have died in the state due to coronavirus pandemic. For now, the state has 2,016 active cases of coronavirus infection.
The recovery rate in the state has now reached 97.26%, while the mortality rate is still at 0.88%.

East Singhbhum remains the worst-affected district of the state in terms of coronavirus infections.
