Corona claims 1 more life in Jamshedpur on Friday, total deaths 370

24 new cases, 27 cured, recovery rate 97%, mortality 2.2%, positivity rate 4.7%

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus has claimed 1 more life on Friday in Jamshedpur taking the total death toll for the district to 370. Although the numbers relating to coronavirus have come down, the number of deaths continues increasing in the district and this remains a concern.

According to official data, on Friday itself, 24 more positive patients were detected in the district. With this, the number of total infected persons in the district has reached 16,713. On the other hand, 27 patients were cured and discharged in the district on Friday too. With this, the total number of recovered patients in the district has reached 16,124.

As per official data, till date 3,58,301 samples have been tested in the district till date. Out of these, 16,713 samples have tested positive, while 3,41,588 samples have tested negative.

The recovery rate in the district has reached 97%, while the mortality rate is at 2.2% and the positivity rate has slided down to 4.7%.
