Corona claims 2 more lives in Jharkhand on Monday, death toll 953

Recovery rate 97.07%, mortality rate 0.88%

Ranchi: Amidst fears of an impending rise in coronavirus pandemic ferocity in near future in the state, Covid-19 has claimed 2 more lives in Jharkhand on Monday. With this, the total death toll for the state has now reached 953.

According to official data, on Monday, 219 fresh coronavirus infection cases were also detected. On the other hand, 304 patients were also cured and discharged in different districts of the state. 2 casualties were reported.

As per official data, till Monday, 39,24,648 samples have been tested in the state. Out of these, 1,07,688 samples have come out positive, while , 1,04,533 patients have been cured and discharged.

For now, the state has 2,202 active cases of coronavirus.

East Singhbhum remains the worst-affected district of the state.

On the other hand, the recovery rate in the state has now reached 97.07%, while mortality rate is 0.88%.
