Zero death in Jharkhand due to Corona on Sunday

203 new positive cases, 298 cured and discharged

Ranchi: In a piece of news that will certainly bring cheers from the people of Jharkhand, the state has reported nil death on Sunday. No death was reported from any district in the state after a long period of gap. Even the worst affected district of the state, East Singhbhum, has been reported zero death for the 5th consecutive days, showing definite signs of a decline in Coronavirus pandemic in the state.

According to official data, although no deaths were caused in the state, 203 new cases were detected in different parts of the state. On the other hand, 298 patients were also cured and discharged in different districts.

According to official data, a total of 36,32,362 samples have been tested in the state. Out of these, 1,04,442 samples have tested positive. Even out of these, 99,074 patients have already been cured and discharged. 897 patients have succumbed to the disease.

The state has now 4,471 active cases in the different parts of the state.
